Ros has worked in the Hospitality Industry since leaving school (a long time ago).

Her experience spans a diverse range of sectors, including hotels, conference venues, sports venues and stadiums and Higher Education.

She has worked for the Engineering Employers Federation and for East Lancs Chamber of Commerce adding to her experience in business management.

A highlight for Ros was working as General Manager of Lilleshall National Sports Centre, Sport Englands’ Flagship Venue, Ros oversaw change management across the teams and development of a commercial culture. At the same time, being commercial lead for Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre and supported integration of Holme Pierrepont Country Park National Watersports Centre into the National Centres Cluster.

Most recently, Ros has led the Hospitality Team at Lancaster University, leading the year-round provision of the safe delivery of food services across campus for students and staff, for conference business and university events. Subsequently and additionally leading the conference team as well.

During her time at Lancaster University, Ros was an active member of The University Caterers Organisation, joining the team as a non-executive board member.

Ros will bring skill sets to the Waddow Hall Trust which range through networking at all levels within business and with the general public. A Commercial acumen - including business planning, risk management and change management.

Ros is adept at challenging and questioning, to understand the aims and necessary actions needed to reach the end goal. This will help with her enthusiasm to support maintaining Waddow Hall for the community, Youth Groups but to move forward to provide Inspiration and Development Opportunities for all.

Ros was brought up attending both Brownies and Guides, with her mother setting these up in the village where she grew up in Lincolnshire. Both her children attended activities at Waddow Hall.
